Central China Real Estate's Contracted Sales Fall 13% in August

Central China Real Estate's (HKG:0832) contracted sales fell 13% year over year to 572 million yuan in August, while gross floor area (GFA) slipped 7.3% to 93,663 square meters, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The property firm's average selling price for the three months stood at 6,107 yuan per square meter, down 6.1% from a year prior.

For the eight months ended Aug. 31, contracted sales and GFA fell 15% and 19%, respectively, to 4.79 billion yuan and 724,658 square meters, with average selling price rising 4.7% to 6,616 yuan per square meter.
