Celltrion (KRX:068270) renewed European Good Manufacturing Practice (EU‑GMP) certification for its 250,000‑litre Songdo Campus production facilities, according to a statement on Tuesday.
The renewal covers Drug Substance facilities at Songdo Plants 1, 2 and 3, as well as other Drug Product facilities. Celltrion plans to expand Songdo Campus output by 15% from a year earlier, supported by the stabilization of Plant 3, which began commercial production in late 2024.
The company expects to produce 128 batches at Plant 3 this year, up about 142%, while preparing a new DP plant for commercial production. Celltrion is also expanding its high‑yield process to boost batch volumes and cut manufacturing costs, while its Branchburg, U.S. plant remains a key part of its global supply chain.
