CECEP Wind-power 2025 Profit Falls 48%; Shares Down 3%

-- CECEP Wind-power (SHA:601016) posted 2025 attributable net profit of 685.7 million yuan, down 48% from 1.33 billion yuan the previous year.

Earnings per share slid to 0.106 yuan from 0.199 yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Operating revenue declined 11% year over year to 4.50 billion yuan from 5.03 billion yuan.

Shares of the renewable energy company were down 3% in recent trade.

Canon Marketing Japan's Net Income Surges 45% in Q1

Canon Marketing Japan's (TYO:8060) attributable net income surged 45% to 12.8 billion yen for the first quarter from 8.81 billion yen a year earlier.The IT solutions and products company's earnings per share increased to 60.07 yen from 40.43 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.Net sales rose 2.6% to 171.7 billion yen for the three months ended March 31 from 167.3 billion yen in the prior-year period.For the full year ending Dec. 31, the company expects attributable net income of 42 billion yen, basic EPS of 199.14 yen and net sales of 685 billion yen.The company said that while the interim and final dividends for the year remain undecided, it estimates the full-year dividend at 90 yen per share.

Singapore Shares Incur Losses as US-Iran Talks in Danger; Hong Leong Asia Up 7%

Singapore shares closed lower on Wednesday, tracking mixed fortunes across the region, with the US and Iran talks in Islamabad in jeopardy with the latter yet to officially confirm its participation.The Straits Times Index (STI), a key benchmark for the Singapore Exchange, ranged between 4,988.45 and 5,014.10 throughout the day.
