InterGlobe Aviation (NSE:INDIGO, BOM:539448), the parent of IndiGo, said the Competition Commission of India has kept its antitrust investigation in abeyance after the airline filed a commitment application under the Competition Act.
The CCI has invited comments, objections and suggestions from stakeholders on the proposal. The regulator has not taken a final decision on the matter, and the investigation remains open pending its review of the commitment proposal.
The regulator had ordered a Director General investigation in February after IndiGo faced widespread flight disruptions in December 2025, with thousands of cancellations leading to passenger inconvenience and scrutiny of the airline's practices.
IndiGo's proposed commitments include setting up a crisis management group to oversee passenger communication and recovery measures during major operational disruptions, along with other measures aimed at addressing the competition concerns raised by the regulator.
