CBA, ASB Bank Join Global Banks in Publishing Shared Principles to Support Agentic Commerce Development

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA), ASB Bank, Bank of America, Capital One, ING Group, and NatWest Group jointly published a shared set of principles to support the development of agentic commerce in the Agentic Commerce Principles Paper, according to a Wednesday statement.

The banks seek to identify best practices and a trusted framework as the agentic commerce ecosystem evolves, and they are focusing on transparency, safety, privacy and data, choice, as well as interoperability.

The participating banks invited other banks and institutions across the payments ecosystem to engage with the principles.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia's shares shed 1% in recent Wednesday trade.

Goodman Group Receives 2 Shareholder Resolutions for Upcoming Annual General Meeting

Goodman Group (ASX:GMG) received two shareholder resolutions for consideration at its Nov. 19 annual general meeting, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.One of the resolutions calls on the company to disclose its framework for identifying and managing material environmental and social-license risks related to data center development close to residential areas, schools, or environmentally sensitive land.The second one seeks an amendment to Goodman Group's constitution to permit advisory resolutions, per the filing.Both resolutions are advisory and do not bind the company's directors.Its shares gained past 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
