Cauldron Energy (ASX:CXU) said the results of a passive seismic survey covering the area to the north of the Manyingee North uranium deposit in Western Australia showed evidence of the extension of the Manyingee North palaeochannel northwards through the firm's recently acquired E08/2896 tenement, into its Manyingee North deposit, and further northwards for around six kilometers, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Recent wet weather in the north of Western Australia delayed the start of drilling to later in June.
Its shares jumped over 33% in recent trading on Thursday, reaching the highest point in over 10 years.
