Catheter Precision (VTAK) said Monday its Flyte subsidiary has made an investment in Volato (SOAR), acquiring roughly 2.9 million shares, representing about 7.5% of the company's outstanding stock.
The investment is part of a broader financing led by Catheter and other institutional investors, with Volato raising $2.2 million through a strategic investment aimed at strengthening its balance sheet and supporting its shift toward AI and infrastructure-related opportunities.
The company added that the investment is intended to support potential collaboration across the private aviation ecosystem, focusing on improving access, efficiency and innovation across both companies' platforms.
Catheter Precision shares rose nearly 3%, while Volato fell 31% in Monday trading.
