Cathay Financial (TPE:2882) unit Cathay Securities Investment Trust has appointed Liu Shan-Chi as vice chairman, effective Tuesday, according to a same-day Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares gained over 2% in Wednesday's late morning trade.
Liu currently serves as senior executive vice president of Cathay Financial, and is also a director of Cathay Life Insurance, and Cathay Securities Investment Trust.
