Cartier Resources' (ECR.V) metallurgical results from the Main Sector at its Cadillac project in Quebec reached 96.3% gold recovery, an increase from previous recovery rates, the company said Thursday.
The 96.3% gold recovery rate was higher than 93.1% outlined in a 2023 preliminary economic assessment and 90.6% outlined in historical Chimo mine average production.
The recovery rate exceeded the company's expectations and enhance the economic potential of the Cadillac project, Cartier said.
"Achieving gold recoveries above 96% in the Main Sector highlights the metallurgical characteristics of the Cadillac mineralization and reinforces the project's strong development potential," President and Chief Executive Officer Philippe Cloutier said.
