Capital Securities' (SHA:601136) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half jumped 37% to 671.7 million yuan from 490.2 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
Earnings per share climbed 33% year on year to 0.24 yuan from 0.18 yuan.
Operating revenue increased 20% to 1.54 billion yuan from 1.28 billion yuan in the prior year.

Lakala Payment (SHE:300773) has decided to terminate its proposed secondary listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Exchange, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The digital payment service provider initially approved the overseas listing plans in August and September 2025.However, due to changes in the market environment and adjustments to its plans, the board voted at a meeting on Tuesday to scrap the plan.
