Canada Nickel Company (CNC.V) has cleared every major milestone in the federal impact assessment process for the Crawford Nickel Project, the company said on Tuesday.
The draft Impact Assessment Report for the project has been published by the federal Impact Assessment Agency, bringing Crawford one step closer to a final federal permitting decision, expected in early summer.
According to a statement, Crawford Nickel is the first mining project to achieve this stage under 2019 federal Impact Assessment Act.
Canada Nickel shares closed up $0.07, to $1.75 on Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
