BW LPG Signs $940 Million Contract to Develop Gas Carriers for Hyundai Heavy Industries

Norway-listed liquefied petroleum gas vessels operator BW LPG (BWLPG.OL) signed a contract worth $940 million to develop eight gas carriers for Hyundai Heavy Industries.

The 90 cubic meter Panamax Very Large Gas Carriers, or VLGCs, are expected to be delivered in sequence from the beginning of 2029 to the second quarter of 2030, according to a May 30 release. The contract remains subject to final technical specifications.

Sarco Unit to Buy Minority Stake in Global Waste Solutions

Saudi Arabia Refineries (SASE:2030), d/b/a Sarco, unit Refineries Venture Co. agreed to purchase a 33% stake in Global Waste Solutions from Khadra Al-Hijaz Environmental Services Co.The memorandum of understanding signed for the deal is valid for three months, the petroleum refining company said Sunday.Sarco added that the deal will expand and develop its subsidiary's activities in caustic and acidic industrial waste, alkaline industrial waste, and oily sludge treatment.

BP Sets June 10 Meeting with Local Union for US Refinery
