Bukit Sembawang Estate's (SGX:B61) profit before tax zoomed 58% in the fiscal second half ended March 31 to SG$99.4 million from SG$63.0 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the real estate company were up nearly 2% in Friday trading.
Earnings per share came in at SG$0.3147 compared with SG$0.1984 in the year-ago period.
Revenue fell 5% year over year to SG$215.3 million from SG$225.9 million.
The company declared a final dividend of SG$0.04 per share and a special dividend of SG$0.18 per share for the period.
