BSE's (NSE:BSE) wholly owned subsidiary BSE Index Services has launched the BSE Saatvik 100 Index, which tracks companies from the BSE 500 Index that meet Saatvik principles.
The index has a base value of 1,000 and will be reconstituted twice a year in June and December, according to a company statement on Wednesday.
BSE said the index can be used as the basis for passive investment products, including exchange-traded funds and index funds, as well as for benchmarking investment portfolios.
