Brompton Energy Raises $34.5 Million Via Overnight Offering

Brompton Energy Split (ESP.TO) completed a treasury offering of class A shares and preferred shares for proceeds of about $34.5 million, it said Friday.

The Class A shares and preferred shares will trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the existing ESP and ESP.PR.A symbols.

The Class A shares were offered at $7.95 per Class A share for a distribution rate of 15.1% on the issue price, and the preferred shares were offered at $10.25 per preferred share to yield 7.1%, it said.

Shares of the company were last seen down 0.1% at $7.94 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
