Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) said construction at its Goldfields Project in Western Australia continued to progress through August, and the project remains on schedule for first gold in June 2027, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Concrete work for the carbon-in-leach circuit is complete, allowing the tank installation team to start on site ahead of schedule, the company said.
It added that the project is tracking within the approved budget, and is expected to deliver average gold production of about 75,000 ounces per year over an initial six-year mine life.
Brightstar continues to evaluate opportunities to enhance and de-risk Goldfields through both organic and inorganic initiatives, with parallel work on mine-life extension opportunities.
