Brahmaputra Infrastructure Bags INR1.14B Railway Road-Over-Bridge Contract; Shares Up 4%

Brahmaputra Infrastructure (BOM:535693) has received a letter of acceptance for an order worth 1.14 billion Indian rupees from North Central Railway, Jhansi Division, Indian Railways, according to a BSE filing on Tuesday.

The contract is for the construction of a two-lane road-over-bridge in the Gwalior-Bhind section, Jhansi-Gwalior section, and Jhansi-Bina section of North Central Railway.

The project is expected to be completed in 18 months.

The company's shares were up nearly 4% in recent trade.

Shenzhen Expressway (SHA:600548, HKG:0548) plans to issue on Tuesday 1 billion yuan in three-year medium-term bonds to repay maturing debts, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai bourse.Payment is scheduled for May 20, with listing and trading on the interbank market set for May 21.Lead underwriters are China CITIC Bank and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.Shares of the toll road operator rose 1% in recent trade on the Shanghai bourse.
