Boise Cascade (BCC) and James Hardie Industries' (JHX) said Monday that Boise Cascade will become the sole US distributor of James Hardie's and its North American affiliates' complete portfolio of exterior building products, effective July 31.
Financial terms of the expanded partnership were not disclosed.
Boise Cascade shares were 4.5% higher in early Monday trading, while James Hardie was up 3.5%.

Apple (AAPL) faces currency headwinds and tightening memory-supply conditions that are expected to weigh on iPhones, Macs and iPads in fiscal Q4, UBS Securities said Thursday in a report.The company's "lack of a robust AI strategy remains a challenge" amid "limited estimate upside and an elevated valuation," the report said.Foreign-exchange fluctuations are expected to trim Q4 growth by 250 basis points, the report said.
