Boab Metals (ASX:BML) encountered "encouraging" visual mineralization in multiple holes as part of recent drilling at its Sorby Hills silver-lead-zinc project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said roughly 60% of the planned growth drilling program at the project is now complete, with early geological observations reinforcing the potential to increase ore reserves and extend the mine's life.
Boab Metals also intersected high-grade galena at the project's Norton deposit, supporting the potential expansion of a known high-grade zone, per the filing.
