Boab Metals (ASX:BML) advanced construction activities at its Sorby Hills silver-lead project, with key infrastructure progressing on schedule, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said DeGrussa plant dismantling is underway, while key site infrastructure has been completed, and clearing of the run-of-mine pad, tailings storage facility, and haul road corridors has been finished ahead of schedule, per the filing.
It added that the construction of the evaporation pond is progressing on schedule, with production of the first silver-lead concentrate expected to commence in the second half of 2027, the filing said.
The company will release an updated project delivery plan this quarter with revised costs, an enhanced ore reserve, and an optimized mine plan reflecting higher silver prices, the filing added.
The company's shares rose 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
