BlueScope Steel Fiscal 2026 Underlying Earnings, Revenue Up

BlueScope Steel (ASX:BSL) logged AU$1.942 in underlying earnings per share for the fiscal 2026, compared with AU$0.959 a year ago, a Monday filing showed.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$1.93.

For the 12 months ended June 30, sales revenue was AU$16.61 billion versus AU$16.25 billion previously, the Australia-listed steelmaker added. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$16.56 billion.

The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.65 per share, up from AU$0.30 a year earlier, and a special dividend of AU$0.70 per share. Both dividends are payable on Oct. 13 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 9.

The company expects underlying earnings before interest and tax in the first half of fiscal 2027 to range between AU$860 million and AU$960 million.
