Blue Jet Healthcare's (NSE:BLUEJET, BOM:544009) consolidated profit declined to 643.4 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 1.10 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share contracted to 3.71 rupees from 6.35 rupees a year earlier, the pharmaceutical company said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Monday.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also fell to 2.35 billion rupees from 3.40 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's board recommended a final dividend of 1.2 rupees per equity share of the face value of 2 rupees each for the financial year ended March 31.
The company's shares were up over 9% in recent trade.
