Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) said the upgraded resource at the Trojan deposit has increased 62% to 202,000 ounces from 125,000 ounces as part of its strategy to fill expanded processing capacity and extend mine life at its Kal East Gold Operation in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company said it is expanding processing capacity at the Lakewood processing facility to 1.5 million tonnes per year from 1.2 million tonnes per year, with the Trojan and Imperial resources located on wholly owned mining leases and remaining open at depth with excellent potential for mine development.
