BKV (BKV) said Tuesday that it has started operations at two new carbon capture and sequestration facilities in Texas during H1.
The Eagle Ford project, built through a joint venture with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, will produce 90,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually, the company said.
The Cotton Cove site, a co-development with Banpu Power US, will sequester a yearly average of 32,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide, the company said.
BKV now operates three commercial sequestration sites in the state, it said.
