BioRestorative Therapies (BRTX) said Tuesday it has completed dosing in its phase 2 trial assessing BRTX-100 to treat chronic lumbar disc disease.
The move advances the study into the next stage of blinded follow-up before planned topline safety and efficacy results in Q2 2027, the company said.
The trial enrolled about 99 people in the US and is designed to assess the safety and preliminary efficacy of BRTX-100 in people with painful chronic lumbar disc disease, BioRestorative said.
The company said it is continuing phase 3 trial readiness projects following Type B meeting alignment with the US Food and Drug Administration.
BioRestorative shares were up 20% in Tuesday late morning trading.
