Bionime Gets European Regulator's Certification for Glucose Monitoring System; Shares Jump 10%

Bionime Corp (TPE:4737) has received certification under the European Union Medical Device Regulation for the continuous glucose monitoring system developed and manufactured by it, according to a Sunday filing to the Taiwan stock exchange.

The continuous glucose monitoring system is used to detect glycemic trends and manage diabetes in adults. It is designed to replace fingerstick blood glucose testing for diabetes treatment decisions.

The system also helps to detect hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia episodes.

The company's shares were up nearly 10% in Monday's trade.
