Biomea Fusion (BMEA) shares were down over 19% in Wednesday trading after the company said it terminated its proposed public offering of securities announced Tuesday.
The termination follows management's evaluation that current market conditions are not conducive to offering terms that would be in the best interests of its stockholders, the company said.
No securities were sold in connection with the proposed offering.

Spire Global (SPIR) won a $33.2 million contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to deliver global navigation satellite system radio occultation data to enhance weather forecasting.The data will feed NOAA's prediction models and support weather forecasting, space weather applications, and research by scientific organizations, Spire said Tuesday in a statement.The two-year contract, which starts Dec. 1, includes additional unfunded surge-buy options that may raise the total value to $66 million if fully exercised, the company said.Spire shares rose 2.2% in after-hours trading.
