Biokin Pharma Gets Chinese Breakthrough Designation for Breast Cancer Drug; Shares Slide 4%

Sichuan Biokin Pharmaceutical (SHA:688506) received breakthrough therapy designation from China's National Medical Products Administration for its BL-B01D1 drug, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The drug, branded Yizekang, is indicated for locally advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer, the filing said.

Shares in the drugmaker fell 4% during morning trading on Tuesday.
