Biocytogen Pharmaceuticals Beijing (SHA:688796, HKG:2315) expects its net profit attributable to owners in the first half to surge by between 392% and 413% year on year to 236.1 million yuan to 246.1 million yuan, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Thursday.
The Chinese pharmaceutical company's Shanghai shares jumped 10%, while Hong Kong shares rose 4% during the midday trade.
The attributable profit a year earlier was almost 48 million yuan, with earnings per share of 0.12 yuan.
Revenue is expected to jump by between 51% and 52% to 936.4 million yuan to a range of 936.4 million yuan to 946.4 million yuan from the year-ago revenue of 621 million yuan.
