BigBear.ai Says Panama Transshipment Group to Deploy AI Cargo Security Platform

BigBear.ai (BBAI) said Wednesday that Panama Transshipment Group signed a commercial agreement to deploy an artificial intelligence-powered cargo security management platform developed by BigBear.ai and Narval's International Shipping Compliance unit.

Financial details weren't provided.

The application uses biometrics and advanced analytics to track cargo movements and handling across the supply chain, increasing visibility for customs and border security while reducing the risks of contraband, BigBear.ai said.

Shares of BigBear.ai were up 1.7% in Wednesday trading.
