Indian oil and gas company Bharat Petroleum raised refinery output to about 41.2 million metric tons in the year to March 31, up from the previous year's 40.5 mmt, it reported on Tuesday.
Sales volumes grew year over year to 54.2 mmt from 52.4 mmt, as both domestic and export markets expanded. The company's domestic market sales growth stood at 3.4% during the period, up from the prior year's 2.7%, according to the report.
During the fiscal year, Bharat Petroleum's revenue from the downstream segment rose year over year to 5.227 trillion Indian rupees ($53.98 billion) from 5.004 trillion.
The exploration and production segment, meanwhile, generated 1.52 billion Indian rupees in revenue, up from the prior year's 1.46 billion.
