Bharat Heavy Electricals (NSE:BHEL, BOM:500103) recorded an attributable profit of 3.77 billion rupees in the quarter ended June 30, compared with a loss of 4.56 billion rupees a year prior.
Earnings per share stood at 1.08 rupees, compared with a loss per share of 1.31 rupees in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday Indian bourse filing.
Total income rose to 79.1 billion rupees from 56.6 billion rupees in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
