Bharat Electronics (NSE:BEL, BOM:500049) reported an increase in attributable net profit in the fiscal first quarter to 10.5 billion rupees from 9.69 billion rupees a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing on the local bourses.
Earnings per share rose to 1.44 rupees from 1.33 rupees.
Revenue from operations in the quarter ended June 30 increased 25.3% to 55.3 billion rupees from 44.2 billion rupees.
