Beyond Meat, Big Geyser Enter Partnership for Functional Beverage Line Distribution

Beyond Meat (BYND) said Thursday it signed a distribution agreement with Big Geyser to introduce its new functional beverage line to the retail market.

The partnership will expand the plant-based drinks beyond direct-to-consumer sales and into more than 26,000 physical retail locations, the company said.

The non-dairy beverage will launch in three fruit flavors, with each 100-calorie serving containing 20 grams of protein and seven grams of fiber alongside added electrolytes, Beyond Meat said.

The company plans to publicly present the new product lineup to buyers during a commercial trade event in Uniondale, New York Thursday, it said.

Shares of the company were up over 3% in Thursday trading.
