Beverly Wilshire Unit Served With Medical Malpractice Claim

Beverly Wilshire (SGX:9QX) unit Beverly Wilshire Medical Center was served with a writ and statement of claim by a patient alleging medical malpractice in or around September 2025, according to a Monday Singapore bourse filing.

The patient is seeking about 961,386.44 ringgit in special damages, along with general, aggravated and exemplary damages.

Beverly Wilshire Medical Center will file its defense and counterclaim within 28 days from Sept. 21, it said.

The company said a collaboration partner's authorized representatives have paid about 500,000 ringgit toward the patient's medical expenses, and a further 250,000 ringgit for accommodation, logistics and other expenses as compensatory benefits and in settlement of the claim.
