By

Bellavista Resources (ASX:BVR) said initial results from its mineral resource delineation and extensional drill program at the Pickle Crow project in Canada are now anticipated in October following unexpected laboratory assay turnaround times of up to 10 weeks, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company previously advised that results were expected later this month.

The 15,000-meter drill program is focused on the top 260 meters of the current mineral resource, with roughly 3,000 meters drilled into the western ends of Zones 1 and 3 to the beginning of September, the filing said.

Meanwhile, bulk samples collected during reverse circulation drilling at the Brumby project in Western Australia are being prepared for column leach test work with the Australian Government's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, per the filing.
