Beijing Asiacom Information Technology Subsidiary Signs 1.19 Billion Yuan Computing Cloud Service Contract

Beijing Asiacom Information Technology (SHE:301085) subsidiary, Beijing Yakang Zhisuan Technology, signed a 60-month high-performance computing cloud service agreement worth 1.19 billion yuan, including tax, according to a Tuesday filing on the Shenzhen bourse.

Beijing Yakang Zhisuan Technology will provide computing power resources at fixed rental rates throughout the term of the contract, the filing said.

The agreement is expected to have a positive impact on Beijing Asiacom Information Technology's financial position and operating results ahead, it said.

Sequoia Financial Group (ASX:SEQ) former Chief Executive Garry Crole has been banned by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) for 10 years from performing any function involved in carrying on a financial services business as a director or responsible manager, according to a Tuesday statement by ASIC.The regulator said Crole failed to adequately respond to serious concerns about the financial advice model used by former Interprac-authorized representatives, who advised thousands of clients to invest superannuation in the now-collapsed First Guardian and Shield Master Funds.The company did not immediately respond to anemail request for comment.
