Beacon Minerals Receives 'Encouraging' Results From Western Australia Deposit

Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) received "encouraging" results from a further 124 reverse circulation holes from drilling at the Iguana deposit within the Lady Ida project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results include 19 meters at 12 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 111 meters, including 1 meter at 152 g/t grade of gold from 111 meters, and 5 meters at 21 g/t grade of gold from 165 meters, including 1 meter at 96 g/t grade of gold from 166 meters, the filing said.

Assays are still being received, and a disclosure will be made once all results are returned, per the filing.

Shares fell 2% in morning trade Tuesday.
