Basecare Medical Gets Registration Certificate for Gem Egg Retrieval Solution in China

Suzhou Basecare Medical (HKG:2170) obtained the class III medical device registration certificate for the egg retrieval solution in its Gems series from China's National Medical Products Administration, according to a May 29 Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the genetic technology research firm were down over 2% in Monday afternoon trading.

The egg retrieval solution is a core reagent in IVF procedures and provides essential preconditions for subsequent fertilization, cleavage, and blastocyst development.
