Barton Gold Confirms Further High-Grade Intersections at South Australia Project

Barton Gold (ASX:BGD) confirmed that its Tunkillia project in South Australia continued to deliver broad and high-grade intersections with the release of further assays from expanded second phase upgrade drilling, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Latest assays from the southern zone of the main Area 223 optimized open pit include 13 meters at 5.01 grams per tonne grade of gold from 55 meters, 17 meters at 3.09 g/t grade of gold from 100 meters, and four meters at 7.6 g/t Au from 95 meters, the filing said.

The Tunkillia pre-feasibility study is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027, per the filing.

Shares fell nearly 1% in morning trade on Monday.

Guotai Haitong Securities Forecasts Up to 304% Surge in Q2 Profit
