Bank of Shanghai's (SHA:601229) attributable profit amounted to 13.3 billion yuan in the first half, largely unchanged from 13.2 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
Earnings per share at the bank stayed flat at 0.82 yuan, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Net interest income went up 7.4% to 17.7 billion yuan from 16.5 billion yuan. Fee and commission income slid 10% to 1.85 billion yuan from 2.06 billion yuan.
Impairment provisions for loans measured at amortized cost expanded to 42.9 billion yuan from 41.3 billion yuan. The non-performing loan ratio rose to 1.42% as of the end of the first half from 1.18% at the end of the second half of 2025.
The board declared a dividend of 3 yuan per 10 shares, or 0.30 yuan per share.
The bank's shares slipped 2% during morning trading on Friday.
