Bank of Communications Issues 40 Billion Yuan of Tier 1 Capital Bonds

Bank of Communications (SHA:601328, HKG:3328) completed the issuance of 40 billion yuan of its tier 1 capital bonds on Monday, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The bonds have a coupon of 1.94% for the first five years, adjustable every five years, with a conditional redemption option on each interest payment date from year 5 onwards, the bank said.
