Bandai Namco Holdings (TYO:7832) posted a 33% year-over-year rise in attributable profit for the fiscal first quarter to 51.1 billion yen from 38.3 billion yen.
Basic EPS was 79.73 yen, compared with 59.22 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Net sales increased 9.3% to 328.5 billion yen from 300.4 billion yen for the three months ended June 30.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the mass media and entertainment conglomerate expects attributable profit of 130.0 billion yen, basic EPS of 202.69 yen, and net sales of 1.350 trillion yen.
The company plans to pay interim dividends of 25 yen per share for the current year, which is lower from the year-ago period.
