Beijing Balance Medical Technology's (SHA:688198) digestive surgery biological patch received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration to register the product as an anastomotic reinforcement patch, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Monday.
The product, which was made from bovine pericardial tissue, is designed for soft-tissue repair in digestive surgery.
The medical device manufacturer's shares dropped 5% during late-morning trade Monday.
