Bajaj Auto's (NSE:BAJAJ-AUTO, BOM:532977) consolidated attributable profit to owners jumped to 32.3 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 from 22.1 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share soared to 115.3 rupees from 79.1 rupees a year earlier, the automobile manufacturer said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Tuesday.
Revenue from operations in the fiscal quarter surged to 216.9 billion rupees from 131.3 billion rupees a year ago.
