Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Gets Macau Approval for Cefalexin Capsules

Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings (SHA:600332, HKG:0874) branch Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Factory obtained a drug registration certificate from the Macau government for its cefalexin capsules, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The antibiotic is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin and soft tissue infections.

Cefalexin sales reached 24.7 million yuan in 2025, according to industry data cited in the filing. Baiyunshan's share was 4.5 million yuan.
