Baidu (HKG:9888) recorded an attributable net income of 3.45 billion yuan in the first quarter, down from 7.72 billion yuan a year prior, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The Chinese search engine operator's earnings per share slipped to 1.10 yuan from 2.70 yuan in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Revenue decreased to 32.08 billion yuan from 32.45 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
