BAIC BluePark New Energy Technology's (SHA:600733) controlling shareholder, BAIC Group, proposed to raise its holdings between 50 million yuan and 100 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.
The automobile company's shares rose 4% during Monday's afternoon trade.
The share increase will be implemented within six months through centralized bidding.
BAIC Group currently holds 1,356,049,958 shares, or 21.30% of the company's total shares.
