B.R. Goyal Infrastructure (BOM:544335) decided to hand over operations of the Salemgarh fee plaza in Uttar Pradesh, India, to the National Highways Authority of India, according to a Monday filing with the BSE.
Shares of the company were up around 1% at market close on Tuesday.
The decision follows a review of the project's operational and financial performance, which was found commercially non-viable, the company said.
The handover is scheduled for May 20, B.R. Goyal Infra said.
The contract was awarded in February.
