Australian Mines Says New South Wales Scandium Project to Begin After NSW Resources APO Approval, Shares Fall 3%

Australian Mines (ASX:AUZ) said drilling at the Flemington scandium project in New South Wales will begin after the receipt of the required Assessable Prospecting Operation (APO) approval from NSW Resources, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Resource extension drilling will test areas adjacent to the existing mineral resource to expand the current resource footprint. Meanwhile, drilling will also provide representative samples for further metallurgical testwork and process development.

Its shares fell 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
